'B.O.E.M.' is the debut effort of an Italian formation by the same name hailing from Emilia Romagna. That being said however, we can't really tell you much more about this band, except that it was founded by bass player and songwriter Enrico Massari and that the whole album was recorded in just three days.

In recent decades several solid Johnny Clarke compilations have seen the light - there was 1991's 'Authorised Rockers' in Virgin's Front Line series, 1998's 'Dreader Dread' on Blood & Fire and 2002's 'A Ruffer Version - Johnny Clarke At King Tubby's 1974-78' on Trojan Records - but with 'Creation Rebel', 17 North Parade/VP Records now bundles 30 of the man's best tracks on two discs or LP's.
