Reggae Archive Records already focused on the Fashion Records label with two earlier releases and this time it is the turn of Nick Manasseh and Gil Cang's smaller and perhaps lesser known Riz Records, active in the 1990s. The label's strength lay mainly in the fact that it succeeded in signing both popular Jamaican artists (Johnny Osbourne, Admiral Tibet, Willie Williams…) and local British talent (Earl Sixteen, Danny Red). In addition to UK steppers and dub 'Rise Up: The Riz Records Story' contains two previously unreleased tracks by Willie Williams and Earl Sixteen.
