With 'Greensleeves 12" Rulers' Greensleeves introduces yet another series entirely dedicated to the popular 12-inch mixes that put the label on the reggae map. For the occasion the mixes are neatly compiled per producer and in-house producer Henry 'Junjo' Lawes is up first. With 12-inch versions of track like 'Gunman' (Michael Prophet), 'Fire House Rock' (Wailing Souls) or 'Diseases' (Michigan & Smiley), this should be just about the perfect set for any self-respecting sound boy!

Unfortunately not everyone has the spending power to acquire all the rereleases the Greensleeves label keeps pulling from its archives. Perhaps the double album 'From Dubplate To Download: The Best Of Greensleeves Records Ltd.' might bring some relief. For this compilation, the label collected 30 of the best tracks from its 30 year history; one track for each year so to speak. With names like Wailing Souls, Barrington Levy and Gregory Isaacs, the first disc in this collection will probably appeal more to roots fanatics, while dancehall-adepts get an ample serving on the second one, with among others, Elephant Man and Beenie Man standing their ground.
