Just as for Black Roots' 'On The Ground' album, the Sugar Shack Records label also signed off on a dub version of Talisman's 'I-Surrection'. The mix of 'I-Surrection Oldwah Deconstruction' was done by Dave 'Oldwah' Sandford who wanted to make it sound like: "a piece of vinyl from 1978 taken out of a dusty sleeve", drawing inspiration from classics in the genre like 'African Dub' and 'King Tubby Meets The Rockers Uptown'. Mission accomplished, as this dub album bears very little comparison to the original, which, in this case, is absolutely intended as a compliment.
