On the occasion of Record Store Day (18/04), the international heyday for vinyl lovers, Bristol Archive Records treats us to an exclusive and limited re-issue of the extremely obscure 'Action' EP by Restriction, meant as a taster for an upcoming anthology of this Bristol based band active in the early nineteen eighties. Before the multiracial Restriction there was Zion Band, a backing band founded to provide the music for a Government-subsidized musical project meant to reduce rampant youth unemployment figures. For this 4 track 'Action' EP Restriction travelled to London to work with Mad Professor at his Ariwa Studios. The result already tastes like more, but should you want to purchase a copy of this unique re-release you'll need to be fast as only a mere 500 copies are being pressed.
