Yours truly has a soft spot for female voices in reggae and with 'Education' Lorna Asher really delivers a gem of an album! For fans of UK roots, Lorna might be no stranger, because she already recorded an earlier album, 'Straight To Your Heart', for the Twinkle Music label of the brothers Grant. On 'Education' she jumps back and forth between lovers rock (check 'Reunited', a reworking of the eponymous soul classic by Peaches & Herb) and roots ('Blessing From Above' on the Sweet Conversation riddim).
