At the start of the new school year, in France called "la rentrée", the Makasound label introduces new African promise Lëk Sèn. Born in Ngor (although currently residing in Paris), a fishing village near Dakar, Sèn began his career as a rapper in the SKK Band. Lëk's style holds the middle between reggae, hip-hop and acoustic singer-songwriter music. Debut album 'Burn' sounds very promising and features a number of familiar faces (Speed Caravan's Mehdi Haddad and Amadou & Mariam's Amadou Bagayoko and reggae cult icon Kiddus I).
