Guitarist Hernán Reinaudo belongs to the top of contemporary Argentinian tango musicians. In the past he was a member of 34 Puñaladas and joined the Hugo Rivas Quartet for a while, but for the Hernán Reinaudo Trio it's back to basics. Flanked by his compatriots Nicolás Enrich (bandoneon and accordion) and Patricio Cotella (double bass) and with the Belgian musician Ananta Roosens (known from her work with La Sieste Du Dromedaire) on violin and trumpet, he now presents 'Kuko', an instrumental album with a musical mix of tango, classical music, jazz and flamenco now and again reminding yours truly of the soundtrack to a movie (an environment Reinaudo is no stranger to, as in 2012 Reinaudo he composed the music for the Argentinian animated movie 'La Máquina Que Hace Estrellas').
