Tillman Otto aka Gentleman is back! The album we've all been waiting for is titled 'Another Intensity' and that title hits the nail on the head as this album indeed sounds slightly different from predecessors 'Superior' and 'Journey To Jah', more introverted, maybe. For some tracks it also means that Gentleman crosses over into hip-hop and even that the German pulls off with class (the riddim of 'Missing Those Days' is what in the hip-hop scene would be called "da bomb!"). The album counts only four duets, including one with the "Italian Gentleman", Alborosie ('Celebration'), and of course blood brothers Jack Radics and Daddy Rings are indispensable ('Jah Love'). That being said, the best and most surprising collaboration on this album is without the slightest doubt that with Diana 'Shy Guy' King for 'The Light Within'. 'Another Intensity' or not, Gentleman succeeds once again in delivering one of the reggae albums of the year!
