As we have come to expect of VP Records, this 'Reggae Anthology' is yet again a solid overview of the career of the artist in question, Cocoa Tea, from his first songs for Junjo Lawes ('Lost My Sonia' and 'Rocking Dolly' still are his two greatest hits) to recent tracks on his own Roaring Lion label ('Zeeks', 'Tek Weh Yu Gal'). This double album, containing as many as 36 songs, also shows the transformation Cocoa Tea has undergone over the years: from an early dancehall artist in the 1980s with legendary productions for King Jammy ('Tune In', 'Love Me') and Gussie Clarke ('Pirates Anthem', 'Holding On'), to working with Fatis Burrell ('Good Life', 'Too Young') and Bobby Digital ('Israel's King') and the discovery of his Rasta identity.
