Buritaca (previously Buritaca 200) is a collective of mainly Colombian migrants who got to know each other in Barcelona. 'Barawanié' is a tasty old school sounding mestizo album that takes one right back to the heydays of Sergent Garcia and Manu Chao somewhere around the turn of the century, exactly like we prefer our mestizo to sound.
La Limoncello draws from a slightly more modern source; with their mix of electro, dub, reggae and a dash of punk rock, 'Equinox' guarantees a diverse listening experience. The cover design of the album could have been more inviting, but that is probably nit-picking.
