More than ten years after the release of 'Another Moses', a meanwhile beardless Apple Gabriel finally reappears on the music scene. "Founding member and lead singer of Israel Vibration" the cover of 'Teach Them Right' reads, as if someone could or would have forgotten that fact. Like the previous release on the Heartbeat Europe label 'Teach Them Right' was also recorded in cooperation with Not Easy At All Productions and JahSolidRock and just as with Chezidek's 'Judgement Time' that means the majority of the tracks are followed by their dub version. The fact Gabriel is still releasing an album at all is already a small miracle in itself, because for quite some time a hive of rumours on the internet spoke of Gabriel being homeless and living in his car (something he refers to in 'Mr. Conman': "To all those homeless people, I know your cry..."). In any case, with 'Teach Them Right' Apple proves he hasn't lost it yet: his voice sounds as strong as ever and with lyrics like: "Don't fight the gays and the lesbians..." ('Give Them Love') he lets us know what Rastafari should really be about. One love Apple!
