Following the release of 'Hungry', the collaboration between Dub Gideon and Mister Kali, Rebel Sound Records now decided to re-release 'Step Fast', the latter's 2010 debut album. In the track list, adaptations of classic riddims like Drum Song, Freedom Blues, World-A-Music and Revolution, giving tracks like 'Psalm One', 'No escape', 'I Love Jah', 'More Than Gold' and 'Rumors' an immediate recognizability factor. A number of vocal guests who could also be heard on 'Hungry' also collaborated with Mister Kali for 'Step Fast' back in 2010. Dre Z Melodi appears in 'Love Is My Armor', and Ras Elijah Tafari can be heard in closing track 'Rumors' (a nod to Anthony B's 'Rumour'). Other combinations include Sgt. Remo, a reggae artist born in Juarez, Mexico, who now lives in Jacksonville, Florida, and AezRock and Circumference, both members of The Boomroots Collective from Santa Fe, giving 'Highest Rems' a hip-hop vibe.
