Even though 'Jah Is The Only King' is already his fourth long player, Sadiki isn't all that well-known in Europe yet. Listening to his crystal clear voice it's hard not to fall for Sadiki's charm. Of Course a voice like that makes him perfectly suited for the lovers rock genre and in that alley 'Lovers Flight', a song over The Heptones' 'Break Up To Make Up', is just about the best yours truly heard over the past year. Love, in the broadest sense of the term, is the central theme on 'Jah Is The Only King', but Sadiki proves he's an all-rounder with conscious tunes like 'Live Some Life' and title track 'Jah Is The Only King' or the originality of 'Mama', a mama-tune disguised as a funny phone call. One to keep an eye on!
