The music addicts among you will undoubtedly already be familiar with John Ayers aka Jstar, as in the recent years the London based DJ collaborated, among others, with Major Lazer, DJ Vadim, Madness and Dub Pistols and with 'Stand To Order' now also finally presents his own solo album. For the vocal portion of 'Stand To Order' Jstar called on a varied group of vocalists. The most striking songs in the track list are without any doubt 'Real Apache Style', for which Jstar not only invited French singjay Tomawok but also Romanian brass band Mahala Rai Banda, and 'Baby Fan Ying', thanks to Hong Kong artist MouseFX the first reggae song in Chinese yours truly ever heard. Brother Culture is in fine shape in 'Deadly Dance' and the same goes for deejay-veteran Ranking Joe in 'Bad Boy Stepping'. The most poppy sounds Soom T in the very catchy title track 'Stand To Order', a song that could easily become a radio hit. Spikey T's contribution is immediately recognizable as he recorded a fine update of Aswad's 'African Children'. And Buju Banton-clone Blackout JA signs for the excellent closing track 'All I Have'. 'Stand To Order', because Jstar has dropped a bomb of an album!
