Just as was the case predecessor 'Sound The System', with 'Freedom In Dub' Alborosie now also presents a dub version of his latest album 'Freedom & Fyah'. It's perhaps not quite a compliment, but we've started to look forward more to Albo's dub albums then to their vocal counterparts. If 'Freedom & Fyah' still counted 12 track, 'Freedom In Dub features only 10 versions (dubs of 'Judgement' and 'Life To Me' were not included), but they're all finger-lickingly good. That more or less covers the essential, but we'd still like to present three highlights from the track list: 'Strolling Into Dub' is pure Sly & Robbie, Alborosie gave 'Dub Cry', the version to 'Cry', a spooky vibe, and '420 Dub' retained the dubstep feel of original 'Fly 420'.
